Today the Academy signed its very 1st two players to the Target Elite 1 pathway programme. Seán Hutchinson and Daniel Coughlan joined team Target under their cutting edge youth programme. The Target Darts Elite 1 Pathway Programme is a mentoring initiative created to nurture young dart players and help them develop into professional-level competitors. It offers support, resources, and access to top-tier equipment to help players advance in the sport. The programme also partners with youth academies to expand its reach and provide opportunities to a wider pool of talent. The academy had been tracking all the members progress and how they applied the support and advice in the academy to their practice and game. Both boys displayed steady progress, improved board management, good leadership on and off the board and showed a healthy attitude to competition and loss. We congratulate them on their first step into the world of Target darts as this is a programme in place to develop players to their full potential as a stepping stone to what they could achieve.
