Session 8 Movers and Achievers

25/05/2025

A little delayed this weeks academy round up, lots going on but session 8 saw my Joker Juniors acing their maths and we stayed working on accuracy this week we hit targets to collect the Target players dart flights and  well all had great fun. We then had a game of chicken on the dart board which brought moments of uncontrollable laughter for the juniors. This week my Jokers highest hitter was my littlest power house Rian Power who smashed it out of the park. Well done to all my juniors.

Again then the youths were faced with the reality that our doubles were letting us down so we knuckled down and continued our constant practice on the doubles. This will take time and work it's not instant nothing in darts is.  Around the clock doubles we recorded the scores but we will now track the increase and improvements. This week I haven't named a most improved member because we are all working on our own personal improvements in own games and that is not instant, Just showing up, facing the repetitive routines with a good attitude and determination makes everyone who has attended over the past week an improver. It's not the mistakes we make its what we choose to do next. If this was an easy game everyone would play it to the highest level. So this past week working on our weaknesses is also working on our attitude and mental health which helps our approach to game play.

Well done to everyone who attended the JDC event Saturday Sean Hutchinson had a great run in the first event of the day. Congratulations. See everyone Monday (tomorrow) when we will reset, restart and play on.
