Joker Academy Movers and Achievers

Its been a busy couple of weeks so we have a bit to get through. Firstly the Modus medal went up to the Academy with John as the weekly winner and all the Joker Juniors loved looking at it and everyone had a moment to chat about it. 

Then it was back to business and we got back to working on our own games. The Juniors now having shown fast improvement have moved onto precision testing and working on our technique so we are making great strides. This weeks Joker Junior MVP was Jay who was the highest hitter. However Ruairi, Jake and Maisie were very close behind with great scores. Rian the destroyer was the most accurate at hitting and breaking the rubber bands with a total of three and giving our older youths a run for their money. 

The older youths are working hard at not eye rolling at John when he only lets them throw for doubles. It's hard we know everyone wants to hit 180's but having reviewed tournament information and the ongoing stats we keep on all our academy members doubles is where we need to be. They also worked on splitting the rubber band like the juniors this week and it's safe to say there was a lot of frustration but mixed with a little laughter. 

Reminder to everyone the academy is closed Monday June 16th, Thursday 19th and Monday 23rd. we reopen Thursday 26th as normal.
